Research, Publication and Extension Services

Through the Division of Research, Training and Extension Services, AIT undertakes research and extension activities either singularly or in cooperation with other agencies. The Institute focuses on the following major research areas:

  • domestic tourism studies

  • economic impacts of tourism

  • socio-cultural impacts
  • evaluation research

  • tourism policy research
