Science and mathematics teachers, preservice faculty, researchers, and textbook developers are invited to submit papers/posters in any of the following sub-themes:

  • Technology Integration

  • Assessment of  Student Learning

  • Curriculum Reform: Processes and Policies

  • Action Research

  • Professional Development Models

  • Education for Sustainable Development

 

Abstracts for paper/poster presentation should not exceed 500 words.  Please provide the following information at the beginning of the abstract:

 Title of Paper/Poster

 Author/s and email address(es)

 School/Institution

 Postal and email address, contact numbers

 Subject Area (Science or Mathematics Education)

Theme (Technology Integration, Assessment of Student Learning, Curriculum Reform: Processes and Policies, Action Research, Professional Development Models, or Education for Sustainable Development)

 School level (Primary, Secondary or Tertiary)

 

Abstracts should be sent by email in Microsoft Word format using Times New Roman 12-point size and single spaced to nismed@up.edu.ph not later than June 30, 2008. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email by July 31, 2008.  Final manuscripts are due by August 29, 2008.
