The International Online Journal of Science and Mathematics Education publishes research articles on all aspects of science and mathematics education. The Journal welcomes contributions that have neither been published nor considered for publication elsewhere. Contributions will be sent for blind review by experts in the area with which the manuscript deals.

Since the Journal aims at international readership, authors are encouraged to describe clearly the educational context to which their particular findings relate.

Send your contributions as email attachment to nismed@up.edu.ph in MS Word format. Or send a hard copy, preferably with accompanying soft copy to:

The manuscript should include a cover note indicating the following: name, institutional affiliation and address of the author(s), correspondence address including fax and email address of the principal author (in case of multiple authorship); and the running title for the manuscript. Author name(s) should not be included on the manuscript to assure anonymity of review. The manuscript should include an abstract of no more than 250 words on a separate page. No maximum length is set for contributions but authors should write as concisely and tightly as possible.

All text of the hard copy, including titles, headings, captions, quoted text blocks and references should be typed double-spaced with one-inch margins all around in A4 or 8 ˝ x 11” paper. Illustrations and tables should be submitted with the manuscript on separate sheets. Arrange the manuscript pages in the following order: Title page (page number 1), abstract (page number 2), text (start on page number 3), tables, and figures.

Follow the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (4th edition) in formatting the manuscript and in references and text citations. For quick reference, visit these websites:
