The
course aims to enhance entrepreneurial motivation among participants and orient
them with the fundamentals of business identification, planning and management.
Specifically,
at the end of the course, the participants will be able to:

Identify the essential
characteristics of entrepreneurs and compare these with their own strengths and
weaknesses as potential entrepreneur;
/
Explain the
fundamentals in organizing a business;
/
Explain the basic
management tools and techniques in operating a small business enterprise;
/
Identify possible
investment projects for entrepreneurial undertakings; and
/
Identify sources of
assistance.
The course will cover the following topics:

Selecting a Business Enterprise

Overview of
Formulating a Business Plan
4.
Skills Requirements in
Enterprise Management
5.
Forms and Sources of
Assistance
The course is open to anybody who would like to become a successful entrepreneur.
TRAINING METHODOLOGY
The course will use a combination of
lecture-discussion, structured learning exercises and group discussions will be
used during the course.
