Subject: Nomination of Faculty Representative to the Office of
 Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) Standing Committee

In compliance with Section 7 of the University of the Philippines
 Implementing Rules and Regulations (UPIRR) in the Anti-Sexual Harassment
 Act of 1995 approved by the Board of Regents on July 30, 1998 which
 states that “A sexual Harassment Office is hereby created in each
 autonomous campus of the University under the Office of the Chancellor…”
 may I request you to nominate one (1) representative to represent the
 faculty in the UP Diliman Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee
 which shall compose of the Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment under the
 Office of the Chancellor.

Please be guided by he following criteria for selection of nominees:
a. Preferably female
b. Holds permanent position
c. Gender-sensitive
d. Familiar and appreciative of the importance of the issue of sexual
 harassment
e. Willing to put time for resolution of sexual harassment cases.

From among the nominees endorsed by the Deans of all units the Chancellor
 shall chose one representative.

Please submit the names of your nominees on or before October 15, 2005.
