To: All Deans and Head of Units

Subject: Upgrading of UP Diliman Website

The UPD portal now has a new look, if you have notice. This is 
 just the first step in our effort to enhance our website.

To further upgrade our presence on the web and update the information 
 and services it provides, I am seeking your cooperation and support 
 for initiatives of the UP Diliman Information Office, in coordination 
 with the UP Computer Centers.

Initially, I enjoin you to designate an official webmaster for your 
 unit who will closely coordinate with the UPD-IO and the UPCC for 
 web development matters. Along with performing the tasks required, 
 the designated webmaster will administer the  sub-sites in your 
 college or office, including sites for research institutes and 
 other facilities.

Through your designated webmaster, please accomplish the attached survey 
 on your unit’s web development status, plans and needs. UP-DIO will use 
 the survey results to draw up a comprehensive plan to bring our web 
 services at par with other institutions of higher learning. Send 
 accomplished questionnaires at the UP-DIO on or before February 23.
