Subject: Earth Day 2004 Celebration

The Office of the President, University of the Philippines, 
 is this year's official host of the Earth Day Celebration. 
 A program will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2004 at the 
 University Amphitheater during which we shall also launch 
 the Nationwide Movement for Earth Rehabilitation. The 
 launching shall be officiated by former Senate President 
 Jovito Salonga.

It is with pleasure that we invite you to join us on this day. 
 Not only will your presence give honor to this occasion, it 
 will also help send a strong message of concern for Mother 
 Earth and the environment. A draft program of activities is 
 herewith attached* for your information. We look forward to 
 your participation in what we consider a truly meaningful 
 way of caring for the environment,
