Subject: Faculty and Staff Medical Insurance

In an effort to expand the health benefits and support the 
 welfare of our employees, the HRDO invited prospective health 
 insurance providers, which are considered leaders in this field. 
 Various insurance providers underwent an accreditation process 
 that reduced the number to two: Insular Life Assurance Company, 
 and Fortune Medicare, Inc. These two insurance providers have 
 complied with the minimum specifications set by the university 
 and have expressed willingness to market their services.

Attached are basic information on the medical insurance packages 
 they offer and payment schemes.

This program is in addition to the Philhealth coverage already 
 being enjoyed by our employees. Interested parties may contact 
 Ms. Felna V. Laurel of the Public Relations Unit, Human Resources
