To: All Deans, Directors, Head of Units

Subject: Monetization of Leave Credits

Pursuant to Memorandum No. MVG-05-124, faculty and staff may file with
 the HRDO two (2) applications for monetization of their leave credits -
 one of which shall be processed by the University immediately, the
 other application shall only be processed subject to availability of
 funds. Each application shall be for a maximum of ten (10) days.

Applicants can utilize their accumulated vacation leave/sick leave
 credits or a combination of both. It is required, however, that at least 
 fifteen (15) days sick leave credits are retained after monetization.

All applications should be filed with the HRDO not later than 30 
 November 2005.
