Subject: Invitation to Attend a Lecture

The GOvernment of the Republic of the Philippines through the 
 Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. 
 Jose De Venecia, Jr. has invited Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Sarif,
 Secretary-General of the World Islamic Call Society to speak 
 on interfaith dialogue as part of the continuing discourse on 
 global peace and progress in international relations. Dr. Al-Sharif
 will be in Diliman this Thursday, January 26, 2006. He will speak 
 before UP faculty and students together with several government officials 
 and scholars/critics from the Muslim Community.

May I invite you, your faculty and students to attend this lecture to 
 be held at the Pulungan Rector (FC Conference Hall) this Thursday 
 (January 26) at 4:00 p.m.
