Subject: Procurement Process

In view of the requirements of R.A. 9184 which provides for the 
 process of bidding and imposing a fixed period for the implementation 
 of each step of the process, the time frame for puchases through SPMO 
 has lengthened considerably. We ask for the understanding of all concerned 
 since we are merely complying with the Procurement Law. At the same time, 
 we are exerting efforts to expedite processing to the extent possible.

Please find attached* the procedure for procurement for your information and guidance.
