TO: ALL ELEMENTS OF UPDP

RE: DELEGATED SUSPENSION POWERS; REVISED TABLE OF ORGANIZATION; NEW POLICIES ON FIREARMS; and ISSUANCE OF CITATIONS & COMMENDATIONS

Effective 1 June 2005, all elements of the UPDP are enjoined to strictly adhere to, implement and/or be guided by the following:

1. Limited Delegation of Chancellor’s Power to Impose the Penalty of Suspension – Maj. Abraham G. de Castro, as OIC Chief of UPDP, is authorized to impose a maximum of fifteen (15) days suspension for the following offenses:

VIOLATION

1ST OFFENSE

2ND OFFENSE

3RD OFFENSE

Discourtesy in the course of official duties

REPRIMAND

1-15 DAYS SUSPENSION

DISMISSAL
After due process

 

Tardiness

REPRIMAND

1-15 DAYS SUSPENSION

DISMISSAL
After due process

Improper or unauthorized solicitation of contributions from subordinates

REPRIMAND

1-15 DAYS SUSPENSION

DISMISSAL
After due process

Willful failure to pay just debts

REPRIMAND

1-15 DAYS SUSPENSION

DISMISSAL
After due process

Prohibited gambling

REPRIMAND

Drunkenness
