Task Force on Squatting, Community Housing and Utilities

Functions

  1. To detect and prevent the entry of squatters, including unauthorized surveys on any part of the U.P. Diliman campus;
  2. To monitor the construction of approved house repairs, extensions, and the like, seeing to it that the work is in accordance with the conditions of the permit or plan as approved; and, to prevent and stop all unauthorized constructions pursuant to O.P. Memorandum No. 69 (signed by President Edgardo J. Angara: Prohibition of the Construction of Extension-Additions and Regulating Repairs). This task shall include U.P.-owned. Pioneer and self-built houses;
  3. To detect, prevent and stop the pilferage and unauthorized use and installation of utilities such as water, electricity and telephone service;
  4. To perform such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the U.P. Diliman Chancellor;
