Sanggumay Residence Hall - home to female graduate students

Brief Description: A dormitory exclusively for graduate women, Sanggumay is a two-storey hall situated across Kalayaan Residence Hall. It cost the University P653,750 to build this mute witness to unprecedented student power in the 1970's.

Sanggumay has a facade leading to a well-furnished receiving area adjoining a spacious TV viewing room which is also used as recreation room. The Residence Head's office and the information counter are on the right side of
the receiving area. The study-conference room is on the upper floor. Sanggumay can accomodate 124 students. There are 62 rooms accommodating two students per room, furnished with lockers, study table with light and book shelves.

The presence of four communal kitchens is an advantage for women who desire to cook. Lockers for storage of snack items, food stuffs and kitchen accessories, freezers and refrigerators are also available.
