Re: Nominees for the Chancellorship 2008 and schedule of consultation fora
As provided for in the Timetable for the Search Process for the Chancellor for U.P. Diliman included in the Memorandum of the President (PERR 07-24, dated 5 December 2007), the Search Committee wishes to make the following announcements:
There were three nominees for the position, listed below with their decisions:
1. Chancellor Sergio S. Cao - Accepted nomination.The schedule of the consultations with the different sectors of U.P. Diliman is as follows:
REPS and ADMIN Personnel; 23 January, Wednesday, 10AM - 12 Noon: Sanvictores Room,
ISSI Bldg.Students; 30 January, Wednesday, 9AM - 12 Noon: UP Film Center
Faculty; 11 February, Monday, 9 AM -12 Noon: College of Engineering Theater
It is the intention to post information about the U.P. Diliman Chancellor Search on the web at the following sites: www.up.edu.ph for the U.P. System, and www.upd.edu.ph for the U.P. Diliman. when the vision papers and summaries of accomplishments of the nominees are submitted to the committee, they will also be made available on the web, as well as future updates. Should the constituents wish to ask questions of the committee, they may do so by sending them the following gmail account: 2008upchancellor@gmail.com. Questions should be sent to the attention of any of the following members of the committee, representing the various sectors:
