FEEDBACK

This is a mere reaction in his behalf, kasi sa tingin ko, this will help other employees to be aware and receptive to emergency cases like this kahit sa pag-mention man lang sana ng kanyang good deed.

To the Editor,

It really felt heart warming to see my name in UPdate as one of those you thanked because of helping restore power in UP Campus. Although I just did my work, I truly appreciate it because UPdate is a prestigous Campus Paper.
I just felt awed and sad when I read part of the article stating that “When staff from Meralco arrived at Laurel St....To expedite Meralco’s repair efforts, residents and eatery owners (Lutong Bahay), provided Meralco free meals--breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
I personally supervised the pole down in Laurel St, and I confidently attest that we did not receive or take any food from customers in the area. It is a strict rule in our company not to take food or money from our customers. Actually, when we were restoring the troubles in UP, we were taking our meals (lunch & dinner only) in the UP Commissary. We paid our meals with our own money. It even took several days before we were able to restore power in the commissary. The female servers in the Commissary even complained to us that their area of residence, in purok Palaris, had been with no power for almost more than a week. It just took us awhile to restore power in UP because the troubles were enormous and widespread which caused our work load more than what we can normally handle.
This is just to clarify the fact that customers need not to offer food or money to any Meralco personnel to expedite any transactions or receive immediate service from Meralco.
Respectfully Yours,

Dear Dr. Cao

Sincerely,
