2007 Christmas contest winners announced

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs announces the winners in the competitions held as part of the Christmas festivities at UP Diliman in December.

Based on the competition’s revised guidelines, the Lantern Contest only had two winners: the College of Law as the Most Creative and the College of Engineering as the Most Resourceful. Fifteen units vied for the prizes.

In the Carolfest, the three winners were: College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (first prize); College of Science (second prize) and the College of Mass Communication (third prize). Twelve student choirs competed.


Collge of Engineering

Three colleges were recognized in the Exhibit contest, namely: College of Home Economics (first prize); School of Library and Information Science (second prize); and the College of Architecture (third prize). Fourteen units joined the competition.

In the Belen Contest, the first prize went to the College of Architecture while the second and third prizes were respectively awarded to the College of Music and the College of Engineering. Thirteen College Student Councils took part in the tilt.
