The UP Outdoor Recreation Group(UPORG) will stage Skip & Skank, a live outdoor dance festival at Ang Bahay ng Alumni on August 31.
Party people can groove to the samba, ska, funk, soul, dancehall, dub and drum & bass as alternative dance music—genres much more exciting and fresher than mainstream club or hip-hop. Bands such as Nyco Maka, Rubadub, Sino SiKat, Brigada, Milagros Dance Collective, Cosmic Love, Good Leaf, Humble Sauce and Kampai will be featured in this one-of-a-kind event. Students from UP Diliman, Ateneo, Miriam, PSBA and other schools located in the area, together with the Quezon City community, have been invited to this exciting experience.
