Twenty graduates of the Bachelor of Interior Design and Bachelor of Science in Interior Design passed the Interior Design Licensure Examination held from October 1-3, with three making it to the top 10, namely Astrid Sangil, Childy Elamparo and Kazel Ferreras.
The successful UP examinees comprise 71 percent of the 28 graduates who took the board examinations. On the whole, only 78 of the 184 examinees passed the licensure test.
The other board passers are: Denise M. Aguilar, Althea I. Almazar, June R. Castro, Gerika D. Erese, Vianca Q. Fontelar, Nikol F. Fraginal, Regina P. Fuertes, Kariza R. Gonzalez, Ma. Kristine C. Ham, Melissa T. Manzo, Leovy D. Mendoza, Ma. Angelica G. Mora, Maezelle P. Rafael, Shiela M. Ramirez, Rachel Razal, Ann Margaret San Jose and Rodessa Villanueva.
According to the College of Home Economics, only two schools obtained a passing rate of 50 percent in the recent board examinations, the other l being the University of San Carlos.
