Through the years, the Archaeological Studies Program has continued to
collect and expand a reference collection that will help in future studies and
for more complex analysis of the materials left by ancient people. The
Specimen Collection of Bioarchaeology is a concerted effort by the entire department. As a
result, the collection has been extremely helpful in the analysis of materials
from various sites, an example being the expansion of the
Ille Rockshelter, Palawan research.
The information on the Bioarchaeology collection has been collated, analyzed,
and listed by a growing number of specialists. These specialists are responsible
for maintaining, adding, editing, and changing the information on the lists.
