Hukay is the journal of the University of the Philippines Archaeological Studies Program. It is a Tagalog term that can be either the verb "digging" or a noun "hole in the ground as a result of digging". It is also a Tagalog slang for "an excavation". The first publication was in September 1998. It is now a refereed journal that welcomes articles from authors who wish to present articles about archaeology, ethnoarchaeology, and heritage of the Asia and Pacific regions. Reviews of books and articles on similar and related topics are likewise accepted.

Hukay is published twice a year.

(NEW) Volume 12 of Hukay is now out!
