Human Origins Patrimony in Southeast Asia

The Archaeological Studies Program (ASP) at the University of the Philippines Diliman was established on August 24, 1995. Multidisciplinary in nature, ASP is designed to oversee and coordinate instructional, research and extension activities pertaining to the systematic discovery, reclamation, analysis, presentation and preservation of the material remains of past cultures.

ASP offers Diploma and MA/MS programs in coordination with the different colleges of the University of the Philippines, Diliman. For the MA/MS degree programs, one can specialize either in Prehistory, Historic Archaeology, or Resource Management. Please feel free to browse through the links to get more information.

MA/MS in Archaeology

Sub-Field Course May be taken from from any of the following: Pre-history, Historical Archaeology, and Resource Management	12 units
Cognates May be taken from from any of the following: Anthropology, Geography, Geology, Sociology, History, Biology, Metallurgy, Material Science, Art Studies, and Statistics	3 units
Thesis	6 units
Total	42 unit
