Development Center for Finance The Development Center for Finance (DCF) was jointly established by the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines Research and Development Foundation, Inc. and the University of the Philippines College of Business Administration in December 1992. The founding trustees were: Gerardo Agulto, Eduardo R. Alvarez, Bienvenido M. Aragon, Adriano A. Arcelo, Manuel Q. Bengson, Dennis C. Decena, Erlinda S. Echanis, Corazon R. Estrella, Edwin V. Fernandez, Conchita L. Manabat, Rafael A. Rodriguez, Emerlinda R. Roman, Mercedes B. Suleik, Josefina N. Tan and Roy C. Ybañez. DCF is dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of Philippine financial markets, the advancement of financial management practice, and professional development for practitioners. DCF endeavors to contribute to these concerns by offering training seminars for finance practitioners in various sectors of industry and across different levels of management responsibility. The Financial Management and Analysis Test (FMAT) A joint undertaking with the FINEX Research and Development Foundation Inc., the Financial Management and Analysis Test (FMAT) promotes the professionalization of financial management practice in the Philippines by offering an objective means of assessing the skills and knowledge of finance applicants/practitioners in the following core disciplines in the field: financial and management accounting, corporate finance, and economics. The FMAT is a 9-hour examination which is taken in modules.
