ANNOUNCEMENT: POSTPONEMENT OF 15th APMC

Dear Professors:
The hostage-taking incident received wide media coverage in the Philippines and elsewhere. While we view the incident as isolated and already contained we considered the possibility that the potential delegates to the 15th Asia Pacific Management Conference (APMC-15) might be apprehensive about travelling to the Philippines in the short term. Recently, the National Cheng Kung University received several phone calls regarding the safety of travelling to the Philippines.
In view of the above, the University of the Philippines College of Business Administration and the National Cheng Kung University College of Management, agreed to cancel the holding of APMC-15 in the Philippines in 2010 and postpone it to 2011. In celebration of its 80th anniversary, the National Cheng Kung University has agreed to host the 15th Asia Pacific Management Conference in Tainan, Taiwan in November 2011.
We apologize for the inconvenience brought about by the postponement of APMC-15. Meanwhile, please consider submitting you full papers to the review process of the Asia Pacific Management Review for possible publication.
