analyzes its influence on the Iranun child-rearing practices. This
is an in-depth study revealing the uniqueness of the Iranun culture
and traditions pertaining to the care and rearing of offsprings.
The Iranun viewed Islam as a comprehensive way of life. Islam
provides guidance and specific rules governing duties and
obligations of parents towards their children. Thus, Islamic
principles and concepts greatly influence every aspect of the
