LIBRARY ACCESS
The Library is open from
Monday to Friday: 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. with noon break.
Library Rules and Privileges

Loan privileges are
only given to NISMED staff and teacher trainees.

Graduate and
undergraduate students of the University need to
present UP identification card.

Alumni, former
faculty and staff may use the library upon
presentation of a valid ID and proof of former
UP status. A special library
card is issued which entitles them to free use for
five days per semester or summer after which
they pay a research fee of P20.00 a day or
P450.00 a year.

Government
researchers have to
present a valid ID and referral from
their office’s Head Librarian. A special library card
is issued which entitles
them to free use of the library for five days
per semester
or summer, after which they will pay a research
fee of P20.00/day; P450.00 a semester; or
P300.00 per summer.

College students
outside the university need to present a letter
from their Head Librarians. A research fee of P50.00 a day
is charged.

Corporate or
independent researchers need to present
identification cards and a research fee of
P50.00 a day is charged.

High school students
are required to present a letter from their
research adviser and noted by their principal.
They will be issued a special library card upon
payment of a staggered research fee.

Audio-visual
materials can only be viewed or used in the
library free of charge for UP students, P50.00
per hour and fraction thereof for outside
researchers.

Online databases
can be accessible to users. Downloading and
printing are allowed with a fee.
