Beverly C. Shangkuan is an instructor of music at the University of the Philippines College of Music, where she teaches music theory. Ms. Shangkuan received a Bachelor of Music in Choral Conducting (summa cum laude) from the University of the Philippines in October of 2005. As college valedictorian, she was the recipient of the Dean’s Medal for Highest Scholastic Achievement. In April 2006, she was inducted into the membership of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
At present, Ms. Shangkuan is the conductor of the Covenant Singers and the NMEC Cherubim. She is the head of the Magnification Team of the New Millennium Evangelical Church and is also a faculty member of the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music, where she teaches conducting and directs the school choir.
