Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) awardee, 2002.

Principal flutist, Manila Philharmonic Orchestra (present).

Music Director, Manila Flute Choir since 1998.

Performed at the Tsuda Hall in japan; the Epiphany Roman Catholic Church in New York; and at the St. Paul's Church in Hammersmith and the Marritt Hotel Regent's Park in the United Kingdom, 1999.

Performed at the Ridsa Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; the Cami Hall in New York; in Washington D.C.; the Sound Hall of the Philippine Embassy in Beijing.

Lead flutist of tenor Luciano Pavarotti's concert in the Philippines and Malaysia in 1996.

Pacific Music Festival, under the baton of Leonard Bernstein, 1996.

Graduated with a degree of Virtuosite, 1987.

Diploma of Superieur Studies with highest honor (Premiere Prix, Medaille d'or), SY 1984-'85 and SY 1985-'86.

Teachers Diploma in Music, Major in Flute, UP College of Music, 1983

Won First Prize with the degree Fin d'etude in the Final Competition for the SY 1983-'84. Paris, France.

Won the Entrance competition at the Conservatoire National de Rueil-Malmaison, Paris, France, earning the single slot for the SY 1983-'84. Along his mentors were flute masters Philippe Pierlot, Jean-Pierre Rampal and Alain Marion.

Received three Certificates of Honor for the UP College of Music (Highest Grade Average as a University Scholar, Highest Grade in Flute, Highest Grade in Winds and Percussion. 1982.

Represent the Philippines in the Asian Music Camp, Tokyo, Japan. He was named the Principal Flutist for the entire Camp. 1980.

Became the only Filipino to receive a scholarship at the International Music Camp in Bottineau, North Dakota, 1980 (served as the principal flutist)

At the age of 18, he won First Prize in the National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA), 1980
