Please bring supporting documents together with application form/2 pcs 2 x 2 colored pictures
All applications to more
than one degree program by a single applicant will be treated and processed
in all respects as separate applications.
TOEFL required of all foreign applicants whose native language is not English
or who do not come from schools where the medium of instruction is English.
IMPORTANT: It is the responsibility of the student to check the status of his/her application especially with regard to acceptance status. ONLY students who confirm by a deadline set by the college, their intent to enroll, are considered accepted. Acceptance slots of those who do not confirm by the deadline will be assigned to another applicant.
As a rule, no alternative date/s for either the Music Theory Exam or Talent Audition is/are provided.

MUSIC THEORY EXAM - Saturday, 10 March 2012
9:00am – 12:00 noon
Abelardo Hall Auditorium
Bring your Official Receipt and ballpen. (The exam will start promptly at 9:00 a.m.)
*Only students
who pass the Music Theory Exam can take the Talent Audition.
Exam results will be posted on Wednesday, 14 March 2012 4:00pm, on the College
Secretary’s Bulletin Board.
B. TALENT AUDITION - Saturday, 17 March 2012

Names of admitted students for the 1st Semester of AY 2011-2012 will be posted on Monday, 26 March 2012, 4pm on the College Secretary’s Bulletin Board. See Ms. Connie for Admission Requirements.

COURSE OFFERINGS
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
CERTIFICATE IN MUSIC
(CM)
A 3-year purely Music Program with concentration in the performing areas of
Voice, Strings, Winds and Percussion.
DIPLOMA IN CREATIVE
AND PERFORMING MUSICAL ARTS (DCPMA)
A 4-year course of study with a heavy concentration on the applied and theoretical
arts. The major areas available are Asian Music, Band Conducting, Choral Conducting,
Composition, Dance, Instruments (Strings, Winds & Percussion), Music Education,
Piano and Voice.
BACHELOR OF MUSIC
(BM)
A 5-year course of study with a wider coverage providing a well rounded preparation
for a career in music. Major areas include Composition, Conducting (Band,
Choral and Orchestral), Dance, Instruments (Strings, Winds and Percussion),
Music Education, Musicology, Piano and Voice.
GRADUATE PROGRAM
MASTER OF MUSIC (MM)
This is a 2-year course of study designed to develop a balance between depth
in an area of specialization on the one hand a breadth of competence on the
other. For inquiries and requirements, see the Graduate Program Office Rm
216.
Requests for delayed
taking of any entrance requirement will be on a case to case basis depending
on the reason. The final decision rests on the College of Music. Please write
a formal letter of request for re-scheduling to the College Secretary’s
Office thru Ms. Connie Rongavilla.
