COURSE DESCRIPTION A study of various literary genres as a dynamic interaction between the individual and social and cultural forces.
CREDIT 3.0 units
COURSE OBJECTIVES
· To examine representative world views in literary texts and encourage students to expand their own perspectives especially in the light of Philippine realities.
· To allow students to see the individual in the midst of social and cultural flux and how both influence each other, which results in a better understanding of the relationship between the personal and public domains.
· To broaden the intellectual and cultural horizons of students through an examination of the various worlds presented and represented in literary texts.

II. Drama (4 weeks)
