SURP Prof named Planner of the Year

19 June 2009---Former SURP professor and Director of Training, Prof. Ernesto M. Serote has been chosen by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as the recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Professional of the Year Award in the field of Environmental Planning.  

Prof. Serote was cited for his high degree of competence and integrity in the exercise of the planning profession, which recognized him as the “Guru of Philippine Local Planning”.

Held on June 19, 2009 at the Manila Hotel, this year’s awards night, Prof. Serote joined thirty-five (35) other awardees from various professions. The awards night was
