Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Scholarship

The School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) invites applicants for the Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP). The Urban and Regional Planning Program has 16 Scholarships every year for two years for outstanding students. Additionally, two new students will be selected to receive Provost Fellowship of $2500.00 each in the first year upon admission. The deadline for scholarship application is extended to March 15, 2009.

The SURP is the only program in the State of Florida that offers students the opportunity to study planning in a metropolitan context. The proximity to the Caribbean and Latin America makes South Florida a key player in the global market.  Florida Atlantic University is centrally located in a diverse and rapidly-changing atmosphere.  The region's rapid population growth, juxtaposed with environmentally-sensitive land, presents unique challenges that necessitate skilled planning practitioners.
