Past Research Projects
Since its establishment, the Center has completed 13 major research projects on different aspects of Philippine and Third World societies and states, including their political economies, social movements, local politics, education, foreign relations, laws, cultures, and ideologies. The studies were done either through the independent efforts of the Center or in collaboration with other institutions such as the United Nations University, the UN-ESCAP Joint Unit on Transnational Corporations, the United Nations Development Programme-Philippines, NOVIB, Freidrich Naumann Foundation, the US Agency for International Development, the Social Sciences and Philosophy Research Foundation, the Southeast Asian Studies and Regional Exchange Program, the Toyota Foundation and the UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies.
