Trina Joyce M. Sajo

Trina Joyce M. Sajo is University Research Associate at the Third World Studies Center. She is mainly involved in publications, serving as associate editor of Kasarinlan, and editing and coordinating the Center's book projects. Previously, she worked at the Center for Leadership, Citizenship and Democracy of the National College of Public Administration and Governance, University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman where she was involved in research and publications. She was co-writer (with Charlie E. Cabotaje) of the chapter on "Womens Desk: A Pioneering Effort in Volunteer Crisis Work" in Participatory Governance in Poverty Alleviation (2003), edited by Victoria A. Bautista. She has an undergraduate degree in sociology, and has fairly recently migrated to the realm of humanities. She is working towards a graduate degree in English Studies, major in Anglo-American literature, at the Department of English and Comparative Literature, College of Arts and Letters, UP-Diliman. Her current research interests include literature and theory, popular culture and the political psyche, and the politics of representation.
