Free anti-rabies vaccination at UPD
(April 12)—Faculty, staff and residents of Barangay UP Campus are encouraged to avail of free anti-rabies vaccinations for their cats and dogs on Sunday, April 14 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at 10 designated stations across the barangay, courtesy of various civic and government organizations through the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of Community Relations.
The stations will be located at: Pook Arboretum Multi-Purpose Chapel; Pook Dagohoy Basketball Court
Pook Ricarte Multi-Purpose Hall; Pook Palaris Ugnayan Hall (serving Pook Palaris and Area 1); Pook Area 2 Open Field (serving Pook Area 2 & 3); Pook Daang Tubo Multi-Purpose Court; Pook Aguinaldo Open Field; Pook Amorsolo Court (serving Pook Amorsolo, Area 17 and Sikatuna Bliss Phase II); Pook Village-B Court (serving Pook Villages A,B, and C as well as those along C.P. Garcia Avenue & Hardin ng Doña Aurora excluding Barangay Krus na Ligas); and Pook Libis Court (serving Pook Libis, Pook Malinis and Sikatuna Bliss Phase I).
The event is a collaboration among the Teodulo M. Topacio, Jr. Foundation, Inc., Barangay UP Campus, the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) of the Department of Agriculture, the World Organization for Animal Health (OiE), the UPLB College of Veterinary Medicine and Teaching Hospital, the Quezon City Health Department and City Veterinary Services, the Philippine Animal Hospital Association and UP Beta Sigma Fraternity and the UP Lady Vets Alumni Association.
Members of the Rotary International D3780 and the Rotary Clubs of Quezon City will be providing frontline manpower and logistical support.
