UPD has 100% passing in 2013 Social Worker Licensure exam; 2 passers in Top 10

(June 24)—All 13 graduates of the UPD College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) who took the June 2013 Licensure Examination passed giving UPD a 100 percent passing mark, data from the Professional Regulation Commision (PRC) shows.

Two graduates even clinched the top 2 and 4 spots in the ranking.

Sophia Clarin-Jingco, who has a Master of Social Work from UPD garnered the second spot, while Kathleen Santos Valdez (BS Social Work), the fourth. 

CSWCD graduates who also passed the licensure exam are Valerie Anne Campomanes Dulfo, Camille Alyssa Calo Barlis, Eunice Moreno Tan, Jennylyn Vergara Cagayan, Mysiah Faith Marasigan Edpao, Ashley Mae Forte Masangcay, Jan Kimberly Chua Co, Karleen May Calantog Reodique, Freddie Hernandez Bernardino, April Jenicris de Mayo Junio and Nikki Joyce Manuel Lagasca.

Out of the 1,827 who took the exam only 1,015 passed.  Graduates from 78 schools nationwide took the exam.  Along with UPD, 13 had a 100 percent passing rate.  According to PRC, the results were released only two working days after the last day of test was conducted.—MDJ
