Contenders from the UP Association of Karate (UPAK) nailed their competitors from other schools by winning three gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the All-Karate Development Arts and Sports (ALL-KDA) tournament held on July 26 at the United Nations Ave., Manila.
In the Intermediate Kata (Forms) Men’s Division, Prado Bognot won the gold medal while Ramil Javier was awarded bronze. In the Novice Kata Women’s Division, Heirissa Alcantara and April Sun bagged the gold and silver medals, respectively.
Michelle Villamayor placed first in the Women’s 18-year-old and above division while Javier placed third in the Men’s division.
