UPD grads top Geodetic board exam

(September 10)— Four UP Diliman graduates made it to the top 10 of the recently concluded 2013 Geodetic Engineer in Licensure Examination.

Noel Jerome Barcellano Borlongan, a BS Geodetic Engineering (GE) graduate from the College of Engineering, topped the exam with a score of 86.60 percent.

He is followed by John Ray Andalencio Bergado (3rd, 86%), Rowane May Austria Fesalbon (6th, 83.80%) and Benjamin Jonah Perez Magallon (10th, 82.40%).

This year, all 22UPDGE graduates who took the licensure exam passed, giving UPD a 100 percent passing rate.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), only 144 passed the exam given by the Board of Geodetic Engineering in Manila this September, out of 384 examinees representing 34 schools.

Registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be on September 12 and 13.
